At least 14 dead in bar as gunmen burst in and began ‘randomly firing’

AT LEAST 14 people have died in a mass shooting at a bar in South Africa.
A gunman burst into a nightspot in Soweto, Johannesburg just after midnight.

Ten others have been injured, and three are fighting for their lives.
Gauteng Police Commissioner Elias Mawela said this morning: “Primary investigations suggest the people were enjoying themselves in the tavern.
“They just came in and shot at them randomly.”
Detectives are on the scene.
“The age range is just an estimation from my detectives to say they are between 19 and 35 years,” he said.
