In the depths of the Canberra Raiders’ club quarters lies a hilarious list of rules for a physio room that has seen and smelt it all – but a snapshot shows one star could have been just a little too comfortable in treatment.
The disciplinary coaching style of Raiders diehard Ricky Stuart is known across the NRL.
Instead, the club’s culture inside media walls has shed a light on winger Jordan Rapana and his smelly antics while undergoing physical therapy.
The ‘Physio Room Rules’ at Raiders HQ, a mix between laws of courtesy and player rules before entering treatment
A large green poster hangs on the wall outside the treatment centre with the title ‘Physio Room Rules’, where a list of special conditions lay down the law for players who enter.
‘You must shower after field or gym before being treated,’ reads the first point.
‘No eating whilst being treated’.
Further down the strict code reads the rule ‘no farting during treatment (Rapana rule)’.

Below, another player law from recently-departed Raider Sam Williams writes ‘no coffee cups to be left in the treatment room (Williams rule)’.
Underneath the cheeky rules comes an effervescent message to all players.
‘There are some things in life that money can’t buy; like manners, morals and intelligence. Please and thank you are still magic words,’ the list finishes.
The Raiders have been smashed with injuries this year beyond the point of physio rehab.

The green machine have had a mixed run of form this year, losing 12-10 to the Dragons last week after a controversial six-again call in the final play of the match.
