From pre-show booze to bikes: Lewis Capaldi is ‘going on a new health kick’ – as he is even taking his £2k exercise bike ‘on tour with him’

He’s famously known for hitting the pub after performing live.

But Lewis Capaldi is reportedly setting out on a new health kick, as it appears he’s swapping booze for bikes while he tours the UK’s festivals, before heading around Europe next month.

The singer, 25, is said to ‘love getting the blood pumping’ as he even takes his Peleton exercise bike, which range from £1,550 to £2,300, on tour with him.

A source told The Sun: ‘Lewis loves getting the blood pumping before going on stage and has taken the Peloton on the road quite a few times now. He loves it.’

Embracing the new lifestyle, Lewis’ Peleton bike  is an-at home exercise equipment which combines cycling and strength workouts with live and pre-recorded classes.

He’s currently galavanting around the UK performing gigs, as he is set to headline Glasgow music festival TRNSMT on Sunday evening.

But as Lewis works up a sweat, it seems his boozing days aren’t over just yet – with singer Yungblud recently revealing that when the pair go out together it’s ‘carnage’.

Chatting to The Sun, the singer explained: ‘It’s carnage. At the end of the day it’s just f***ing . . . the beer taps get drunk dry, to be honest. We always end up behind the bar. If we’re drinking, we come in for a quiet drink and the pubs of the UK drag us behind the bar and we’re out until 6am.

‘Then my manager’s trying to wake me up in bed because I’ve got an interview at ten. He’s like, ‘What happened?’ And I’m like, ‘I was out with Lewis again . . .’ continued YungBlud.

It comes after Lewis recently branded himself a ‘lazy c***’, telling fans at Lytham Festival that he was supposed to have new music to play at the gig.

Jesting that he spent too much time pleasuring himself rather then writing music, the Scotland native told festival guests: ‘I must apologise. We were meant to have new music to play at this gig but I’m a lazy c**t and I didn’t do anything.

‘I spent the majority of my time furiously m**********g. So I don’t have any new music yet, but it is coming.’
