CORONATION Street’s Sam Aston has shared a rare glimpse at his lookalike son.
The 29-year-old’s wife Briony shared an adorable throwback snap of the tot as they celebrated his second birthday.
Sam, who plays the role of Chesney Brown in the soap, and Briony are proud parents of two children – son Sonny and daughter Daisy Josephine, who was born in May.
Briony posted a sweet snap of the baby to mark him turning two, and wrote: “Our gorgeous boy is 2 today. He is 2 days old in this photo, and I’ve still never known a baby look so much like their father.”
Sam’s son has his eyes closed in the photo with a blanket wrapped around him, and looks very similar to his actor dad.
Sam initially shared a photo as the couple welcomed their son two years ago, kissing the baby’s head with his wife by his side.
He wrote at the time: “Welcome to the world little man. Our little ray of sunshine. Sonny James Aston.”
Sam married Briony in 2019, two years after announcing their engagement.
Briony works as a yoga teacher so the couple had a yoga-themed first dance in front of family and friends, and his Corrie co-stars at Stock Farm in Cheshire.
Sam also has two famous siblings who’ve starred in soaps – his sister Emily Aston is an actress who appeared on Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit back in 1990.
She has starred in Growing Pains, Casualty, Between The Sheets, Holby City, The Bill, Doctors and The Other One.
Emily also appeared on Coronation Street between 1996 and 1997 as Rebecca Palmer.
