Page 3 legend Sam Fox lands exciting new job as she makes very different career move
SAM Fox has landed a job on Virgin Radio as she branches out into a new career.
The 57-year-old model will be hosting a show on Virgin Radio 80s Plus and plans to get everybody dancing.
Page 3 legend Sam will be on air every Saturday in June, following Matt Goss, who will be hosting in May.
Speaking about her new gig, Sam said: “I am delighted to have been given this opportunity by Steve Denyer to join the Virgin team @virgin radio 80’s plus.
“I’m playing some absolute anthems along with some classic 80’ tunes, I will have every body up on their feet dancing along with the Fox.”
The star, who still looks incredible, added: “It’s been 40 years I’ve been in showbiz – I’m loving it more and more, I’d like to think lie a fine wine – I am getting better with age.”
Sam has been blown away by the support she has received from well-wishers since the sudden sad loss of her sister, Vanessa, last month, but says that music has always seen her through her lowest moments.
She also thanks the amazing support network of fans, dear friends, wife Linda and mum Carole around her.
Sam enjoyed a stratospheric rise to fame after becoming one of The Sun’s Page 3 girls in 1983.
After finding her footing in the world of showbiz, Sam — who had insured her 34D assets for £1million and posed nude for Playboy magazine — became a household name.
