FURIOUS snooker fans were left beside themselves with frustration at the amount of coughing in the Crucible during the world championship final.
Four-time winner Mark Selby, 39, is taking on first-time finalist Luca Brecel, 28, for the 2023 title.

But viewers watching on the BBC were left distracted by the Sheffield crowd during the second session on Sunday.
The coughing from the audience in attendance was catching unwanted attention from those at home.
And some took to social media to vent their anger.
One said: “The amount of coughing during the snooker tonight is ridiculous, doing my head in man.”
Another added: “What’s with half of the crowd at the snooker coughing every four seconds? 🤧😂😂😂😂.”
A third replied: “Some of those in the audience ought to be in a hospital theatre rather than watching a world snooker final, judging by their coughing every minute.
“Sort your unhealthy lifestyles out for fecks sake, why don’t ya!”
And a fourth responded: “Anyone else watching the snooker noticed that the crowd there sound like they did in the 80s when more people smoked than didn’t?

“The coughing, the rasping, it’s not good.”
Brecel took a 6-2 lead into the second session against Selby – who has been in the final on five previous occasions.
Both men fought hard to clinch their spots in the final.
Selby rode out a strong comeback from Mark Allen to clinch a 17-15 victory in the last four.
And Brecel produced the best comeback in World Snooker Championships history to beat Jiahui Si, turning around a 14-5 deficit to win 17-15.
